Hi Andy,
hope your recovery is progressing better now, sorry you won't be riding.
Do you have any details, start times etc, I've not heard anything?

Hello Dave
I think you need to be at Farnham Park for 7.30 to pick up your rider pack with a start of 8.30

Information is on their website....I would not advise looking at the route map!

Checking the map Dave, I reckon we did 25 miles all in all, so more than we thought!

Ever the optimist!
Are you cycling to the start on Sunday? It might be a good idea to
meet up....assuming your knee is moving again.I will bring WD40 just
in case.
Cheers

I am completely out Dave :(((((( long story but it is connected to my Linear IGA autoimmune problem. Instructions from hospital not to ride until further notice. Absolutely gutted.

Sam, judging from the weather forecast and the route, I think you should be happy to be there in spirit only, and of course we will miss you!

Yes definitely meet at the start - perhaps aim for a certain spot in the car park? Must make sure we all have each other's mobile phone numbers before Sunday!

I may aim for 7:45 then can get them to do any 'bike tweaks' as apparently that is available at the start according to the website, so I may as well make use of that service!

Dave are you cycling from your house or bringing your bike in the car?

Hi Rachel,
I'm not sure my legs will stand another 5 miles each way, so I'll
probably take the car to school and park there.I will try for 7.45
(ish)

Shall we say by the bungalow /hut just as you turn into the car park?
Still 8 a.m? We'll be cycling from home- but walking up the Castle street
bit! Need to save our legs!

Good idea, see you all at 8:00. Not wanting to jinx anything, but it seems there may be less rain around tomorrow than predicted :)

Brilliant ride today, thanks people for waiting for us to arrive and welcoming us in, there were high points and low points, one of the low points included once again being reminded not to judge a book by its cover....ie. when we were overtaken by two lovely grey haired grannies of at least 75 who sped past us going up a steep hill on their shoppers, high point was hearing the cuckoo for about half a mile, knackering ride but really enjoyable, see you all Tueday!
