New for the Broadside Bash 2014...the Grudge Match!

Round 3 will be a grudge match round.

You may challenge another player and should they accept then you will be paired up in round 3 for a no-holds barred battle to the death, two men shall enter and only one man shall leave!

Actually it will be a regular game subject to all the normal rules ;)  Just sounds more exciting the other way.

The grudge must be accepted by both players and registered with the scorekeeper prior to the end of Round 1.  No grudges will be accepted after the end of round 1!

If you arrange the grudge match prior to the start of the tournament, we will ensure that you do not get paired up before round 3.

I am planning on bringing my Wood Elves, 2 questions:

1) are there any rules about unit fillers?
2) Lore of Beasts Curse of Anhrier (Sp?); it treats all terrain as dangerous, RAW, "open terrain" is the most common terrain.  Internets argue this, is there a ruling for Broadside Bash?

Thanks

To answer your questions:

1.  Unit fillers are fine.  Just be reasonable about them, make sure it is clear to your opponent.  If you are concerned that it is over the top or abusive, well, it might be.  We probably wouldn't make you remove it, but consider how your opponent will score your comp or sports if it is 1 model standing in for 15...

2.  With regards to that spell, yes, open terrain is terrain.

Dearest Kurt,

Well if Big Jim of the Westcoast Hammertime boyz takes his High Elves that he’s going to use for the QCR, then I challenge him to a War of the Beard. No shirt and the only rulz being last one standing wins!!!
