30+ days away and only a few spots left for 40k. Lots of spots available for WFB yet. Get those registrations in!

Hey Kurt,

Just curious. You guys are listed as an ITC event now. Are you using the ITC FAQ's and rulings for 40k?

Thanks, see you there!

Hi Kurt

I just looked at the blog for the broadside and I was hoping you could clarify something. You announced that we will be using 'active' Swedish comp which penalizes the player with the lower comp score in each game. If this is the case, is the comp score still calculated into overall tournament scores as it is stated on the rules page? It seems like it should be one or the other rather than both. Thanks.

Bryan

It is both.  In game the active Swedish is used to determine the victory points and thus the win-lose-draw of the game.  The comp score x 2 - 4, then determines the final Composition/theme score used for overall tournament scoring.  This score is used in determining the Overall, Best General and Best Army score.

We are trying some new things this year in both 40k and WFB, so we'll see how it all plays out and determine if this will continue in future years.
