No rest for the weary here....hot on the heels of the best 3 days of gaming in San Diego (Broadside Bash at Kingdom-Con), we are going to be hosting the next best 3 days of gaming at the San Diego County Fair.
The Battle by the Bay II
Sponsored by the Game Empire and the San Diego County Fair. We are bringing gaming back to San Diego and in a big way. Center stage at the fair this year is going to be the Battle by the Bay II...a three day gaming event from the guys that brought you the Broadside Bash.
Friday June 21st - Sunday June 23rd, 2013
On Friday, we'll be hosting a big old fashioned all-day Apocalypse throw-down. We'll have commemorative Fair pins for all participants, t-shirts and discounted fair passes will be available. We'll start at 9am with first turn at 11am; 2 hours per turn (with a couple of ample breaks for you to enjoy the fair). This event is free to join, and Game Empire will be providing store credit objectives all day long.
On Saturday, we'll host a 24 player mini-GT style Warhammer 40k tournament. The same fun and themed missions and awesome terrain that you played on at the Broadside Bash. First round starts at 10am, painted armies only. Fair passes for 2; commemorative fair pins and t-shirts for all participants; fair award ribbons for all award placings; plus piles of store credit provided by Game Empire. This event is $30 per player entry fee.
