JOIN THE NATIONAL RALLY AGAINST UNIVERSITY CUTS

THURSDAY 16 OCTOBER, 1.00 PM DUCK POND LAWN

UoW Uncut has called a rally of students and staff against funding cuts to universities and against fee deregulation for Thursday 16 October at 1 pm starting at the Duck Pond Lawn. We will then march to the McKinnon Lawn for a discussion of the issues facing us.

If you are worried about $100,000 degrees, lifelong student debt, job cuts, overworked staff, disappearing courses and even worse facilities then come along to the rally to discuss the issues and to contribute to the solutions.

Show Abbott and Pyne we reject education just for the rich.

Join with students and staff across Australia in protesting on this national day of action against cuts and fee de-regulation.

Speakers include local Federal MP Sharon Bird, union and student representatives and a high school student.

There will be lots of opportunity for you to contribute through comments and questions.

We want students and staff threatened by these attacks to have a voice.  Join us at 1 pm on Thursday 16 October beginning at the Duck Pond Lawn. For more information contact John on 0422 984 334.
