Hi there,

Dharma Dailey, co-author of Broadband Adoption and the Role of the Public Library (if you haven’t yet read it, I encourage you to do so!) and Co-director of Deep Tech just blogged on TechSoupforLibraries.org about her interview with Mike Crandall and Sam Becker from the University of WA. She talked with them about their work assessing technology projects—for libraries and nonprofits—and I expect you’ll find their perspectives and best practices useful.

I encourage you to check out her post: http://techsoupforlibraries.org/blog/notes-from-the-experts-assessing-technology-projects

Stay tuned to learn more about a webinar we’re currently organizing to cover more topics around assessing training and technology projects. We’re gathering stories and questions; if you have topics or ideas you’d like us to cover, or you have a perspective you’d like to share, please contact me.  And remember: for more BTOP tools and resources, visit http://broadband.wiki.techsoup.org/

Thanks,

-sarah

Hi BTOP'ers,

I've gotten some encouraging responses offline about the Tech Soup post on evaluation and the interview it references.   There are lots of good eval experts out there who could spill the beans.  If people have ideas for future interviewees / eval topics to delve into / possible posts, send them my way.

Kind Regards,
Dharma Dailey
