Hello from Idaho
I am Teresa Lipus, Public Information Specialist with the Idaho
Commission for Libraries.
Idaho also received a BTOP award for the Idaho Commission for
Libraries’ “online @ your library” project (
http://libraries.idaho.gov/
landing/online-your-library). We have completed several training
events and we anticipate that Idaho public libraries will be “lighting
up” their increased broadband and public access computers from April
to May this year.
I am looking for ideas from the Broadband Now group on developing
rollout toolkits for the participating libraries.
Currently we are putting together a customizable press release and
media advisory, fact sheets such as our BTOP Overview (http://
libraries.idaho.gov/files/BTOPOverviewWinter2011Feb.pdf), and Digital
Photo Frames pre-loaded with information about some of online
resources available through the project and brief Idaho Public
Television spots about the project (
http://libraries.idaho.gov/blogs/
aubreyellis/television-spots-online-your-library).
I would appreciate any suggestions for rollout toolkits that you might
be able to share with the group.
Thanks, and good luck with your BTOP projects.
