Reporter seeking info on access issues in D.C.

Hi all,

I'm Lalita -- a journalist working on a series of stories for Technical.ly DC on access issues in D.C.

There are several issues to tackle but  I wanted to start looking on at the broadband projects and where they are at right now.  So if you'd be up for discussing DC-CAN and DC-NET with me, please do let me know. I'm just starting to research this topic.

Your email was trapped into a folder I infrequently review. I was, however, aware of your effort. I'm a retired Silicon Valley lawyer and have worked on this effort, on and off, for several years. I'd be happy to provide you my insights. We, as a group, are just now renewing efforts that were somewhat waylaid by the last election. There is a good bit of history and, hopefully, the coming months will bring new developments.
