New to Brix - Need a push

Hello:

I"m a java developer that has some experience with Wicket. I am
looking for a Cms to support my web applications and I came across
Brix-Cms.

Using Git I downloaded the project.

Now I'm looking for some docs on how to get started using it.

Can someone help me get going?

you can take a look at Brix wiki (https://github.com/brix-cms/brix-cms/wiki/_pages), there are some basic information. And lot of information you can find also on mailing list archive (http://groups.google.com/group/brix-cms-discuss/topics).
