Hello,

The project of Brix-CMS seems not very active. There seems no commits over a year.

I found the following topic about Brix-CMS:

http://apache-wicket.1842946.n4.nabble.com/Brix-CMS-has-stopped-development-td4659520.html

So I'm wonder how risky it is to use Brix-CMS? How much support I could get from the community if running into problems? Which branch is more reliable/sensible to use, the mater or wicket6 branch?

Compared to Brix-CMS, there are also a few Java based CMS out there, for example, Magnolia, OpenCMC, Walrus, etc.? What's your opinion on what's the advantage of using Brix-CMS rather than those just mentioned?

Thanks for your expertise and help in advance!

Yuci

Hi,

I think you don't want to ride a dead horse.  Take a look at the other CMS systems, I'm sure you find one that fits your needs.
Developing with Brix some years ago was quite fun but now the time is over. We stopped our project https://github.com/bricket and I don't think that we we will ever continue it.

Good luck,
 Ingo
