Mystery Vehicle

I have been asked by a collegue to identify the vehicle in the attached photo.

I am thinking Chrysler Airflow but I am not that hot on 1930 American cars.

Can anyone help?

I had a look through my pics and going on grille styles, this is the
only one that comes close. Might have been a "family" style of Ford at
one time.

Hello Dave

I have two pictures of Chrysler Airflow models and neither has the
grille arrangement on your photo.

My guess would be a Buick 40.

It's not a Buick.  The grille, which is not unlike that of a Triumph Dolomite, is rather distinctive, and the Triumph grille was a copy of the one used by Hudson.

I think you'll find that your mystery car is a 1936 or 1937 Hudson Terraplane.

Nice cars were Hudsons. Engineered rather than made to a price. (As far
as that went in the US)
