Hello, I have a 25th anniversary commemorative
golf club set in a wooden case with mounted clubs from Jack Nicklaus.
The clubs are made by Macgregor, and they are a special edition I
believe from 1986. The set includes 2
woods, a full set of irons, and a putter in a case with felt backing
and a brass identification on the front. The brass identification reads "A limited edition reproduction of the MacGregor clubs played by Jack Nicklaus
from the time he began his professional golfing career in 1961 and he
used through 1967. Number 2400 of 2500. Originals on display atMuirfeild Golf Club, Dublin Ohio. MacGregor Golf company 1986". I was looking to see where
would be a good place to get this appraised for its value. I have attached some pictures as well. Would your
company be able to help me? If not, do you know where I can look to get
help? Please, any information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm a quite recent overseas associate who joined (do not
travel ) to be able to receive your wonderful quarterly. As a
collector of golf books with over 4300 titles, most all in exceptional
condition I just had to subscribe to TTG for its many contributions to
the literature of golf. As a collector, just receiving the current
issues without obtaining all the earlier issues seemed unthinkable.
Hence my request for leads to the issues I have yet to obtain as
follows:
(TTGs needed: M = March, J = June, S =
Sept, D = Dec.)
1987 = S, 1988 = J S D, 1989 = S D, 1990 = M J D, 1991=
M, 1999 = S, * [2003 = M J D,2001 = D, 2005 = M J S D, *
[2006 = M J S D] *may not need - will know in a few weeks.
By no means an expert or historian, I will nevertheless try
to answer any questions regarding golf books.
