Happy Easter to fellow BAA members World wide. The news of Prof Stephen Aondona Ikurior, passing to glory at Easter is sad news. My family and I wish to join all the Bristow family as we mourn this great man. He was my Head boy when I was in form one at Bristow. Through out his life he has been a role model. At Bristow he reflected great charismatic leadership. He had a rare smile and genial personality and commanded respect because his school life was exemplary. He had rare charm and love for all and stood for justice. He made laid the foundation where Bristow was the only school in the Benue province and beyond where bullying and fagging were outlawed. We were brought up in an atmosphere of equality and freedom that Christ himself gave to us as children of the Almighty; breaking down the walls of gender, class, race, and tribe.

To lose a great intellectual at the time when the world is groaning under the weight of an ubiquitous pandemic, when intellection is greatly needed to evolve new paradigms of existence to serve humanity based on scripture is monumental loss.

We however thank the Almighty God for loaning to us that beautiful life that has returned to the Maker. Be consoled for none of us will get out of life alive. He is still the Head boy leading the way to heaven. We all shall willy nilly follow in his steps that follow the footsteps of our Christ. Adieu my brother and friend. Happy Easter.
