Really enjoyed last night's session, very well structured. I
appreciated the focus on "what actually *is* a game" very much too;
it's something I think a lot of people can forget when blinded by
flashy graphics or novel input devices, especially given the latest
round of home consoles.

So thanks to Tom, Ed and everyone else involved in making this
happen. One of the best SkillSwaps yet I reckon--just a shame I had
to dash off afterwards! I probably would've had Tom crying for mercy
under a barrage of game-related questions anyway... so probably for
the best. ;-D

Yup it was a cracker - Tom is an excellent presenter and I thought it
was great. Indeed it was a shame you left as he had to put up with
me :)

Good work all

Greeting Skillswappers,

the video from our Game Design session is now available (thanks Oliver
and the Watershed massive)...

Click on http://groups.google.com/group/bristolskillswap/web/skillswap-june-game-design
- or copy & paste it into your browser's address bar if that doesn't
work.

Video link updated not to have a space at the end - should work now.

Oliver.

Couldn't agree more; we're about to get a PS2 and a couple of guitar controllers for the office in fact.
