Another social meet up.

Hi all,

Last nights meet up was a low key affair (good to meet you Matthew)
but there were several people with prior arrangements who expressed an
interest. We agreed to meet again next month so put a date in your
diaries now: 8pm Tuesday 11th December. Horts Tavern. Broad Street.

Tom Goring has offered to bring his laptop along and run a quick demo
session on Jboss Seam, Gavin King's JEE web framework. Assuming we
aren't inundated then it will just be round the table with a pint but
all are welcome so if you're interested then reply on the group.

The consensus from the first meet up was that the group is unlikely to
grow without some real technical sessions and speakers. With this in
mind I'm planning to organise a more formal meeting early in the new
year. Once a date is fixed I'll circulate arrangements and I may ask
for some help setting up - my wife is expecting at the end of January
so I guess I'll have my hands full!

Hi Dave,

Added to my diary!

I'll knock up a quick demo to build a seam app using an existing
database and jboss seam gen. Then explain what's been generated and
some of the concepts behind it.

Let's hope that no beer gets spilt on my laptop!

I haven't had time to knock anything use full together for this demo.
Work is a little busy at the mo.
