Unfortunately, since I live in Aberdeen, I won't probably make it to the next meetup, however I'll try to time my visits to coincide with future meetings.
I should've offered last night, but if anybody is interested, I could help organise a session on the two following topics:
* FP for newcomers: we could work on the classic FizzBuzz kata using nothing but functions as the primitive building block. If there's time we could extend the constructs to build hash-tables, etc. I did a preliminary version of this (incomplete) in case you're interested:
