Nav Station

Hi,

Has anyone disassembled the nav station? I need to get into the space forward of my knees while sitting at it. There is an existing small door for access, that years ago I could manage. I want to make a different entry into that space so that it’s easier to get to things stored in there, like my SSB radio, my battery charger, and the seacock.

Thanks for asking. No, I never did anything about this. My latest thoughts are to cut a door into the forward side of the nav station behind the seatback cushion.
