Bristol Yacht's owners list

Hi all,

This is my once a year push to get the owner list updated. Anyone can edit the list. Google docs is not smart phone friendly, if you need help ask. This list can be found in "files and links" in this group. This list is semi private, it can not be found unless you have the link and the link is only posted on private Bristol forums.

If you are not on the list, you might miss out on community events. You might also find a new friend sailing in your area. The list is very old and many of the entries are not valid, mostly because that people do not remove themselves when they sell their boat and new owners do not update the sheet. Entries with "*" in the email space indicate a no contact or bad email address.

Hi, looking to sell a Bristol 24 project boat located in Chatham, Ohio. If there's any interest I will post photos and will listen to offers. Otherwise it goes on eBay. Sitting on my property. No trailer. No outboard. Bought it years ago to replace our B 22 "Peaceful Respite". Lost my wife of 42 years to brain cancer last year and lost ambition on the boat project.

Hello!  Her name is Jura and we are keeping that name.  She has an inboard Graymarine Sea Scout 25 engine, and was first 27 to have an inboard.  We are storing her at Pirate Cove next winter.  Best email is my husband’s:  da...@middletonartsmanagement.com

We are still working on our plan for next summer mooring location.  Our home yacht club/harbor is Sakonnet, so we are on that very, very long mooring waiting list.

What is the name of your boat? I hope that we do see you and your wife out there!  She will be launched next week from Riverside and kept for a couple of weeks on the mooring in Portsmouth that belongs to her former owner.  We will haul her out at the end of August (my husband travels for most of September) and work on her in the off season.  We have two sailing sons... we are all thrilled!

Do you happen to have the email for that very nice man who is selling the decals to benefit make-a-wish?  I would love to buy one or two, especially for such a great cause.

Hi again, Eric.  The one major item that we know Jura will need before too long is a new rudder.  The current one will do for now, but is not in the best condition.  Clay has had it strapped in several places.  Do you have any advice on this?  Do you know if anyone in RI makes these?  I've been scouring the internet for a used one, but nothing has come up yet.

I hope that I'm not driving you crazy with all of these questions.

Eric, I would be pleased to add my 1971 Bristol 30, Hull #40 to your list, but I am not familiar with your spreadsheet. Can you tell me how to open a new line in the appropriate place and how to save it when I'm finished? I opened a line for you and started the info. The sheet is open for editing and automatically saves every time you add info. You can finish adding the info, or just provide it for me. Don't worry about making a mistake. i monitor all entries and will correct this sooner or later.
