Hello old bean, I believe we are to make our own way back to the start, or our awaiting vehicles. I am not resident either but do cycle in and around the charming town quite frequently and know my way around quite adequately. I expect there will be plenty of us probably riding back. I'll be on a '39 black Raleigh Sports model.
Can't wait for the event; jolly excited.

Dear Vintage Velo Team As it has not been my good fortune to witness the delights of Bristol and its environs ( being an itinerant to the district ), I would dearly love to know if the the ride includes a return to the starting point ,i.e. the suspension bridge or will we be left to our own resources to effect a return ? I only mention this as I do not posses a map of what I am sure will be a delightfully interesting and hopefully minor route to our destination and would like to think that I would be sufficiently capable, even after refreshments ,liquid or otherwise !! not to rely on other forms of transport With best wishes and hoping for fine weather on the day Yours aye Rodney Crane

Dear Paul,
We've tried to send the entry confirmation to you twice already. Perhaps it is residing in one's Spam folder? In any event, it has been re-sent separately to your personal email. Third time lucky, and all that...
Best wishes,

And there's me getting me costume all organised an' all. To say nothing of the bike?
God bless Bristol, and all who sail in her! As with last year, we've found any number of local businesses willing to dip a hand in their pockets and donate some amazing prizes in order to make the Vintage Velo extra-special for you, the lucky participant.
So, in addition to a fancy Brooks saddle from Bools, and a stunning portrait of your pride and joy from Bespoke Bike Portraits, we'll be giving away some quality riding water courtesy of Grape and Grind, tea for two at Boston Tea Party, and some really useful bike accessories from, er, Really Useful Bikes.
We'll also shortly have details of a very special prize provided by Bristol Bike Workshop, which promises to be the most spectacular giveaway yet. Keep perusing this space!
