I thought it might be cool to start a thread of inspirational flash
sites. maybe we could discuss how some of the elements have been
built?

Good idea.

I'm really digging Big and Small on CBeebies at the moment made by
some ex-collegues of mine in Brighton at Plug-in Media.
They found out yesterday that they've just been nominated for a Bafta
for it:

Nick, I don't know the ins and outs of how the Hobnox site was built,
but Andre Michelle spoke about it at flashonthebeach and I know that
all sound manipulation is done internally with Flash.
