Wildfire is an rapid-growth media owner producing high-quality
integrated special interest magazines and online communities. Through
our media we unite niche communities - whether they are consumer
titles for special interest groups B2B titles for industry
professionals. We have a number of new web launches planned for 2008
as well as continued evolution of our existing online portfolio.

The successful applicant will also be able to demonstrate effective
communication at all levels from 'factory floor' up to board members,
including IT and non-IT personnel.

Skills/Attributes -

* Excellent understanding in Object Oriented, Component-Based
analysis & design, Client/Server Architecture, Middleware design, Web
Service, Semantic Web, Service Oriented Architecture and Model Driven
Architecture.
* Solid programming skills in Java, JSP, Servlet, C#, Flash,
Action Script, XML, PHP, MySQL, HTML, AJAX, CSS, JavaScript.
* Proficient in Eclipse, NetBeans, JBuilder, Tomcat, SQL Server
2005, Visual Studio 2005, IIS, SVN, CVS.
* Experience in UNIX Shell, DRUPAL, WSH, RSS, WSDL, SOAP, OWL,
XMI, MOF, Perl is beneficial but not essential
* Teamwork: Organised student events with other committee members
of the society.
* Strong communication skills.
* An understanding of Web 2.0 orientated web tools.
