Theparable of dollars is a 100-page book authored by the prominently known SAM ADEYEMI. It was inspired by a revelation about the parable of talents presented by Jesus in the bible (Luke 19:11-27). He had long thought of this parable explaining stewardship of our God-given talents, but he realized it was MORE THAN THAT.

From the parable, he discovered that several proven strategies for financial success was highlighted.

The book is aimed at building financial giants, who if diligently follow the principles critically explained in the book, will definitely cross over to the other side of LACK.

As mentioned earlier, the book is made up of 100 pages, with 8 chapters, each with not more than 15 pages. This infers that reading this loaded book, by taking 1 chapter for 2 days, will result in completion of the book in 16 days!

For average readers, it takes about 20 minutes to read 10 pages (with full concentration).

This is just a drop of water from a rain of dark clouds. Download the book from our e-library in the link below, get a popcorn, sit comfortably and let the rain do its job. Have a good read!

There are plenty of Bible verses on money, but the parable of the rich fool jumps out because of its relevance to how we structure our personal finances in 21st Century America. The parallel of the rich landowner in Luke 12 to our modern philosophy of wealth accumulation serves as a stern warning about the dangers of excess.

The rich fool parable gave me a gut check when I was starting to seriously pursue financial independence and early retirement. I see myself so clearly in the story that I took on the identity of The Rich Fool and started a personal finance blog. It continues to guide me as I strive for a life defined by radical generosity instead of comfort and security.

Although the parable of the rich fool ends there, Jesus continues to teach the deeper meaning. In a section of Scripture that mirrors Matthew 6, he warns us not to be anxious about food or clothing. Instead of worrying about tomorrow, he tells his disciples to invest in eternal purposes and let God take care of their physical needs. Jesus ends the lesson with a call for his followers to sell their possessions and give to the needy.

Financial independence seems like a worthy personal finance goal. It even masquerades as responsible planning and good stewardship. For the Christian, however, it leads to independence not just from the need to work, but also from God. We have to leave room in our finances for dependency on God and test him in our giving. We must actually pursue financial dependence, not independence.

Daily, I hear people share with me about their struggles with their self-worth. Whether it is not feeling worthy of a higher salary or undervaluing how much their products are worth. They struggle with the self-confidence and they end up missing out on opportunities and keep putting themselves down.

Go outside to the garden and find a large stone. Then take the stone down to the market to sell it. If someone asks you for the price of the stone, stay silent, and instead just stretch out 2 fingers in response. If someone offers you money for it, don't sell the stone! Bring it back to me, and I will tell you the answer to your question."

"Very good! But your mission is not over yet! Tomorrow morning I want you to try it again. This time, take the stone to the museum instead. Come back to me afterwards and I will tell you the answer to your question.

"Not so fast! I have one last task for you. Tomorrow, I want you to try one more time. This time, take the stone down to the art collector's shop. When you come back, I promise to give you your answer."

So the next morning of the third day, the young monk brought his stone to the art collector's store. It seemed the story of the little monk and his mysterious stone had spread throughout the town, as immediately he was surrounded by a group of people.

Reading this story reminded me that we have the power to determine our worth. It is time to stop putting ourselves down and realize the value, skills, and creativity that we each can bring to the workplace. Our worth could be 1 dollar, 10 dollars, or even a million dollars; ultimately, we each get to decide for ourselves.

The rise of MMT poses a challenge to the mainstream commodity money story. That parable, familiar to anyone who has taken high school economics or read Adam Smith, involves an inefficient barter system that gives way to the more convenient use of some token that represents value, typically a precious metal. If government plays a role in this story, it is only to regulate money after the marketplace births it.

The idea that money is best thought of as credit would prove influential. Schumpeter lent substantial support to the credit-first view of money. Post-Keynesian economists from Nicholas Kaldor and Paul Davidson onward operated from a credit-money viewpoint. There is also some overlap between the credit and neo-chartalist approaches. MMT emerged largely from post-Keynesian circles, and neo-chartalists endorse some credit-money notions (Wray is largely responsible for resurrecting Innes).

Imagine a lemonade stand. The entrepreneurs get the ingredients, start up their business, and have dozens of customers per day. It earns twenty dollars a day. Not bad for a humble lemonade stand, right?

The key is to test different options. Kevin has had success in substituting affiliate ads in the place of AdSense, for others affiliate products might not work, but an ad for your own product might. For others it might be about swapping ads to Chitika or another ad network. For others it could monetize better by selling ads directly. For others still it could be better to not have ads at all but to sell yourself on your blog as a consultant.

I remember back to April 1st this year, the big conflicker scare, my visitors to one of my other sites for that one day was 2,700 as compared to a normal 85/day. On this one day alone I earned over $75 with adsense where usually it was nearer $3. The point is that earning from your blog or website is purely a numbers game, a law of averages! Get enough visitors hit your site and you can & will sell literally anything.

and Google is placing appropriate advertisements on that post but if I try myself I may not be able to find these clients who is interested in advertising and also most of them may not have a affiliate marketing system in place which track the sales.

Adsense is quite targeted advertising solution. Google ensures that they serve relevant ads for their customers as that means higher click-through rate & more profit to both parties and they have been constantly working on to developing the Technology. Agree, some sites perform better with affiliate marketing than adsense, but then there are sites that generate thousands of dollars with adsense only. Thinking the sites that employ adsense are any less credible would be biased.

It may be an intelligent step to reach the adword advertisers directly. However, AdSense ads are geographically targeted. Thus what Darren may see in Australia may not be what most of the US readers see. So you may actually end up posting irrelevant ads.

Seeing as I have members part of a community, marketing my own affiliate products can appear to be more focused on me rather than the community. Adsense (my first test) or something similar seems to be the way to go.

Adsense is by far the best program out there. But the problem is that you need to generate about 100 clicks a day to be making any real money. I generate is i work hard about 30 clicks a day. So im far from the 100 click mark

God does not endow people with identical or necessarily equal gifts. And God does not expect identical or necessarily equal results from everyone's work. In the parable, one servant makes a return of five talents, while another makes two talents. The master praises both equally (Matthew 25:23). It's important to observe that both servants invest for the benefit of their master, and they return to him not only his original investment, but also what they make on his behalf. When we say that everything we have is a "gift" form God, we don't mean that what we have belongs to us now, instead of to God. We mean that it is a privilege to be entrusted with talents, resources, and opportunities to work toward God's purposes in the world. The implication of the parable is that we if we do so, we take our place among all the faithful, trustworthy servants of God, no matter how big or small our accomplishments may seem.

Explore what Matthew says about the kingdom of God and your work. The lessons in each chapter are great for small group or individual study. Lessons include scripture references, reflections questions and prayer.
