I apologize for not getting back to you yesterday afternoon… I spoke with the finance team and I have some good news. As long as our checks to you don’t exceed $600, I won’t need a W-9 form. If we did exceed that amount I would need you to submit a W-9 but you can put your Employee Identification Number instead of a SSN. This is the number that coincides with your ordinary income tax filings and is much less sensitive (in terms of getting compromised) than your SSN.
Regardless, because the amount is less than $600, I have filed your paperwork and you should receive a check in the mail either later this week or early next week. Thank you for your patience!
