A Message From the Interim Superintendent of Schools:

 

During the course of the day Monday parents may notice an increased visible presence of local law enforcement at schools around the district.  Please be aware that this is a pre-planned measure that is most likely common across the region.  Before the start of school today schools will have held staff meetings and safety team meetings to coordinate for counseling needs, and to review safety procedures and protocols. 

 

Please join the Interim Superintendent of Schools, Representatives from Local Law Enforcement, and Educators, for a parent information night "Keeping Schools Safe:  A Time for Questions, Concerns, and Information"  to be held Thursday, December 20, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium at John Jay Senior High School.
