Does Brightstar support compression of the data stored?

Hi,

No not really. URIs are interned (common prefixes replaced with much shorter prefix identifiers), which gives a significant space saving. Typically a BrightstarDB data store will be smaller than the same set of triples in N-Triples / N-Quads form. However we don't currently do any compression on the pages of the BTrees or the resource list. It is something we have discussed as a possible way to improve store performance and reduce the disk space but it does add quite a bit of complexity to BTree access and especially to update so its an idea that is on the back-burner at the moment.
