Hi,

We are looking for a part time sys admin. Ideal for somebody that wants to
mainly work from home.

If you know of anybody please pass them my way.

The reason we are looking is that our product Webnographer has taken off and
I need somebody to help out with sys admin to take off pressure from me so
that I can focus more time on the development of Webnographer itself.

Webnographer <http://webnographer.com> is a remote usability testing tool,
which enables people to identify both where usability issues are occurring,
and why they are occurring. It has been used to carry out usability tests
all over the world from Ghana to China to the Otter Hebrides
.

The ideal person that we are looking for is somebody who is a good self
starter with a real passion and zest for doing something different.

The infrastructure that we are running is based on Ubunto Linux. We are
looking for somebody with skills with Ubunto Linux, and MySql, as well as
other tools such as webSVN and Apache.

The main role of the Sys Admin that we need is three fold. 1) Writing
scripts to automate things such as builds and deployments 2) deploying
servers in new locations. Because of the way that Webnographer works it
is important that our servers are physically close to the client server
being tested and 3) Installing new web services. Currently we are a virtual
company, and there are only three of us, soon to be five. When we add more
team members they all will be geographically spread. Therefore
web communication tools are imperative for communication.

All the best

James
