My name's Lucy Freeborn and I work at Propellernet in Hove (online and social marketing agency), but before that I was head of consumer PR for Europe for Yahoo! and I'd love to get involved with brighton geek girls.
I am also setting up a Brighton branch of SheSays
It's an organisation of brilliant women that was launched in London a few years ago, but has
been so successful we've launched across the world! Cool, huh?
It's an opportunity for lots of like minded woman involved in the digital, creative and marketing space to network, learn from each other and support each
other.
I'm hoping to launch the Brighton branch with a speaker event some time in September / October. Everything is free to members, we can pay presenters as a little thank you for their time, but the main aim of SheSays is to network and learn from each other.
I'd love the ladies of Brighton Geek Girls to get involved. Some things will naturally be more relevant than others for all - but do let me know what you think. Would love your thoughts and feedback.
What are you interested in? Would you come to a free event if it was compelling enough? Have you heard of SheSays before?
Questions, questions, but I would love to hear all your thoughts.
Email me at work, I would love to hear from you!
Kind regards
Lucy
