I wanted to let you all know about the Sussex Internship Programme and how it could help provide a head-start in a media career to recent graduates. What’s the programme about?
Sussex Internship Programme provides 100 6 week internships for recent graduates at media companies across the whole of Sussex, with applications for the first 40 live NOW.
Successful applicants will get:
· A 30 day grant supported placement at one of Sussex’s most exciting media companies
· A genuine project-based internship
· Professional skills training
· Access to top industry professionals
· To be part of the most successful internship scheme of its type in the country
Who is eligible?
This year’s scheme is open to 2008 and 2009 graduates only. Prospective interns will need to either have studied anywhere in the country and be resident in Sussex, or be a graduate from a Sussex-based university. Postgraduates can also apply – but they’ll need to have completed their postgraduate degree in Jan 2009 to apply for this round of places.
