New to the group! I use Twitter a lot so I'm curious if anyone shares stuff there and/or we might set up a hashtag topic for it.

I use twitter as well, but not exclusively for foraging stuff. But a hashtag could be good.

Hey foragers!

There is a #forage hashtag on Twitter, but half of the tweets are dedicated to horses (I think forage is also the grasses the munch on??).

One could always write #brighton and #forage in their tweet, with pix hopefully : ).

I've been meaning to tweet my foraging escapades, as I'm rarely on the computer long enough to update my blog... plus my computer is too old for wordpress apparently.

Question is, would people be checking twitter to see what's up?  Are there phone apps these days that can notify people when their favourite hashtags are used?  That would be handy, not sure if anyone has thought of it yet...

Yeah!  I will too.  I suppose creating a hashtag is as easy as just making one and using it.  Coolbeans.

Hi all I am still interested in being part of the foragers group. However I am old fashioned and have no idea what twitter,tweet or hashtag is!
