Hi all

The Apple store in Brighton would like to set up a series of
networking evenings in store – details below.  Would really appreciate
hearing your take on whether it might be useful for any of you,
particularly re. developers/designers showcasing apps/services.

Many thanks

Jo

Hi Jo,

Thanks for talking to me this morning.

So just to recap, we're looking into running a series of networking
evenings in-store. Providing an environment where both apple
users/businesses/resellers alike can come to share ideas. Our
experienced team will be on hand to provide support and advice in a
number of areas including training, technical support and business
support. As I said, part of our ethos at Apple states...

"We build community through exciting programs for all customers -
through special events, hands-on workshops, and customised programmes
for Educators, Business and New to Mac Buyers."

I look forward to hearing any input you may have on how we can achieve
this. In particular, any developers, designers etc. that may want to
showcase their applications, products or service.

Well, I can't imagine that having a space for "showcasing apps" wouldn't help but I'd like to know more but meeting to discuss it could certainly be interesting.

Regards from a snuffling cold-laden but improving Stephen :-(

This is the followup from the conversations we started with Apple
Brighton ... almost a year ago :).

(I think they're a bit better organized this time - I've had this
message multiple times, both to my personal email, and on local
mailing lists)

If anyone's got requests or ideas, please mail me off-list - I'll be
sending them a re-cap of our original proposals, and any other ideas,
imminently.
