Hi All,

 

I tried a pint of BBC2 last night and it is good and almost completely clear after only a few days in the bottle. I think I detected a hint of elderflower in there although it is pretty subtle.  I also felt that there was a slight difference in body which I am putting down to the lack of wort chiller (especially as we have just bought one!)

 

So I think we should organise a meeting in a week and a bit, when BBC2 is conditioned for a couple of weeks:

 

I have worked up a spreadsheet of where we are financially which we could go over then and also decide where we are going and what we are doing next.  There have been some exciting ideas bandied about recently and it would be good to see if people want to make them happen.

 

In the mean time some of us can be brewing etc.  Dont forget the BBC is not just about beer, if the wine people want to operate at the same time as the beer folk that would be fine.

 

Let me know if that date or thereabouts is acceptable...

How about Wednesday 15th?  This would be by far the best day for me.  Perhaps we can do it at mine.  I'll ask Ben.

I am happy to host again if required, Beth said she might talk to Ben about doing it at her house, might be nice to ring the changes as I think we have been at mine a couple of times now.

Yes, this is open to everyone on the list of course, there are a couple of people who we have not seen yet and it would be great to get together!

Hi hedvig - is that the Scrumping Project Sunday scrump at Whitehawk?  I have people staying so depends what time they go Sunday, but if early enough then I was going to volunteer a few hours on the scrump if I could, but another time - I'd like to try making blackberry wine a bit later on too
