Hey all,

Been doing the Electrum dance and think I've just about moved all my BTC into fresh addresses. Has anyone tried selling their new Bitcoin Cash at all, using pre-fork private keys? If so, easy or what? I guess just selling for BTC is probably the easiest route...

Coinomi wallet is the easiest way to convert bcash to bitcoin. They'll also have a bitcoin gold wallet once the fork activates.

Cheers Darren, I'll have a look into it.

Happy to help if anyone wants to work out transferring stuff between Electrum wallets now. (Also figured out how to set up a VM for any software you don't trust... Not a bad evening's work.)

Awesome, seemed to get hit by some slow BTC and BCC block times* but went via shapeshift in Coinomi, and got some fresh Bitcoin in less than 12 hours. Thanks for the pointer.

Still weirded out by hardfork free money...

* not used BCC before. Block times were anything been a few minutes and a couple of hours yesterday.

Hi guys, been a while.

I finally got round to accessing my BCC from all my old BTC wallets this morning. What is the general consensus on what to do with them?
I'm inclined to just sell them for BTC, but there is also another hard fork on the BCC chain on 12th Nov. Does that mean more free coins?
What are you guys doing?

Is the hard fork the followup BCC spec shift to address crazy difficulty
swings? If so, then a) it shouldn't set up a second, competitive chain,
and b) ouch, doesn't help the reputation of BCC as far as I can see.

I've sold my easily-accessible BCC, after seeing the general downward
trend in price.

Bitcoin Gold looks even more of a shambles from what I've read so far?
