These10 songs straddle a multitude of genres, but are surefire crowdpleasers for any karaoke session. Trust us, no karaoke session is complete without at least one of these all time greats in the mix!
Is this real life, is this just fantasy? An absolute masterpiece from Queen, Bohemian Rhapsody seamlessly blurs the lines between pop, rock and opera to create quite simply the best karaoke song of all time.
Everyone knows that karaoke isn't about being a professional singer. That said, it always make you feel like royalty when you nail a tune! These 10 easy karaoke songs are sure to help you look like a genuine popstar at your next karaoke session (or at very least they'll stop you from accidentally crucifying a classic!)
Killing it at karaoke is great, but killing it at karaoke with a partner is even better! The give and take of a great duet make for brilliant shared singing experience, and these 10 duets are sure to have you vibsing with your karaoke partner on a spiritual level...
The great thing about this duet is that it's relatively easy to sing. There isn't a huge vocal range so it doesn't take much effort to sound half decent. Definitely one to start warming up a crowd with!
Be warned: this is an absolutely brilliant duet, but it is pretty hard to nail. The vocals of Alicia Keys are more than a touch powerful and you'll only remember about half as many of Jay Z's rap lyrics as you think you do!
There was always going to be a lot of Disney on this list! A Whole New World is the best song from Disney's Aladdin for a kids sing along, but Arabian Nights, Friend Like Me and One Jump Ahead are also excellent choices.
The masters of child-friendly pop, most of the songs in the S Club 7 back catalogue make for a great kids karaoke session, but due to its upbeat, energetic tempo Don't Stop Moving is definitely the best.
Who hasn't dreamt of being a rapper at some point in their life? While popping bottles in the club with 50 might not be entirely feasible, rapping along to his music next time you're performing karaoke most certainly is with these classic hip hop tracks!
Be warned: this song is a lot harder than most people realise, as while everyone remembers the opening Dr. Dre verse and chorus clearly, they tend to forget how difficult the Queen Pen verse at the end is!
The first hip hop song to win an Academy Award! An absolute masterpiece, Eminem wrote and recorded Lose Yourself during the breaks between shooting scenes for his film 8 Mile using a portable recording studio he brought on to the set.
The first recording of California Love actually features three verses from Dr. Dre, but there's only one copy of this initial session in existence and it's owned by DJ Jam, Snoop Dogg's personal concert DJ.
It's impossible to hear the opening chords of Can't Hold Us and fail to get pumped up! There's also great pleasure to be had in watching yourself and your friends fail miserably to match Macklemore's double time.
If you're going to perform a hip hop party anthem, it doesn't get much better than the stand out single from 50 Cent's debut album Get Rich Or Die Tryin'. Any song that gets described by the usually austere BBC as "a spectacular party anthem" must be doing something right!
How's this for a bit of rock 'n' roll trivia: Slash has a defibrillator attached to his heart to regulate its pulse, and while playing at Michael Jackson's 40th birthday party the defibrillator malfunctioned and shocked him several times but Slash played through the pain pretending nothing was wrong.
There's a wonderful feel good factor to disco music that translates brilliantly in to fun karaoke sessions with plenty of naff Disco Stew dance moves. If you're looking to sing karaoke to something more upbeat, these 10 karaoke disco tunes are just want you need.
Do you remember, the 21st night of September? Love was changing the minds of pretenders, while chasing the clouds away! Hitting the falsetto high notes of this disco anthem's chorus is particularly fun with a large group.
Macho Man and In The Navy are other absolute classics from The Village People, but a round up of the greatest disco karaoke songs of all time that doesn't include YMCA in the top 3 is quite simply wrong!
Aaaaaah freak out! The inspiration for this disco karaoke classic actually came from the band's guitarist and bassists being refused entry to New York's notorious Studio 54 nightclub. Quelle surprise!
A Grammy-award-winning classic that is a surprisingly successful mixture of rock and disco. Any song that featured as the lead track on The Full Monty and has had Prince Charles hip thrust along to it has to be doing something right!
Earth, Wind & Fire are so good they have to feature twice (with a little help from The Emotions). Boogie Wonderland is a 24 Carat disco banger with a beautiful boogieliscious hook and more gold sequinned vests in the music video than you can shake a disco ball at.
You might not think that ballads about outlaw gunslingers, pick up trucks and country roads would make for good karaoke song material, but trust us, they really do! Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jooooooooooleeeeeene.....
If Johnny Cash is the king of country and western, Dolly Parton is most definitely its queen and Jolene probably ranks as one of the greatest karaoke songs of all time, let alone just country and western karaoke!
A simple love song to his native land, John Denver's Take Me Home Country Roads was so adored by the people of West Virginia they actually decided to make it one of their official state anthems back in 2014.
Anyone else miss the days when Taylor Swift did country? If you pretend you aren't deeply enamoured with Swift's Love Story you're either a liar or heartless. Romeo take me somewhere we can be alone...

I appreciate that there were lots of requests for you to increase the font size in Spotify, but I for one was perfectly happy with it the way it was for the latest release. The new font size is enormous, meaning loads more scrolling etc. Couldn't you give us the option to choose small, medium or large??
Someone mentioned that the ability to zoom in / zoom out would be a good idea to solve this problem. At the time, that feature wasn't available but it seems that it is now, at least with the windows client. Hitting CTRL+- will make the fonts smaller and CTRL+ + will make the fonts bigger.
The best place to suggest changes to be made to the Spotify client is over on the Ideas Exchange where your idea can collect kudos and feedback from others. It might even have already been suggested so its worth a quick search first!
I'm very sad to see that the spotify I have always loved is turning more worse on every update. The views with the white background, the new confusing follower and activity feed system and now too big font size on playlists have all made things worse than before. I often wonder how spotify has ended up with these solutions, as I havent met aonyone who actually likes them..
Exactly, I'm not a fan of this larger font size either. The playlist bar on the left of the screen requires alot more scrolling now and looks very unprofessional. It was also alot easier to simply click the star button on the old version of Spotify to add a track to your Starred playlist (and yes I do know they can be dragged but I thought this new version was intended to be faster).
FInally is there any possibility of adding a button to not display albums for an artist. For example if you search for Armin van Buuren it takes a significant amount of waiting and scrolling until you finally arrive at the 'singles'. This has been an issue for too long now.
100% agreement from me. When given a choice I usually use the smallest font that is possible to render properly. The new desktop GUI looks plastic/cheap and user unfriendly compared to other programs because most of the other programs respect the font size selected by the user at OS level.
Enormous indeed. I can only see 18 tracks at a time on my 22" monitor. I can see more than that in Winamp 5.1 that only fills half the page... Other than that, I do like the new formatting, but this gigantic font size has to go.
This seems to be an old subject and the answer is 'no'. Without trying to get heavy and alleging discrimination etc. but some of us who love Spotify dont have as good eyesight they once had or are just unfortunate in that department. We live in a world community and Spotify should accpet it responsibilites to its diverse customers. Well, I have said it now.
This method blurs the fonts too much (on a relatively recent laptop with a 15.4" screen and 1600x900 resolution running on Windows 7). Its like each font is a low quality jpeg image. You should implement a proper way to change the font size.
I must say, this is one of the most happening hotels I have ever visited, and that is saying a lot because I have been all over the United States on various media trips. If you are in Grapevine for the weekend, you cannot go wrong with Hotel Vin. And if you are a wine lover, double bonus, because the entire hotel is wine themed!
I am a sucker for decor that can transcend my spirit back into time and Hotel Vin hits the nail on the head. Upon entering the lobby, the beautiful mid-century modern style, jazzy music, and bustling atmosphere instantly has me imagining the swanky era of the 50s. Because the hotel is wine themed, there is a featured wine cocktail hour offered in the lobby daily at 3pm. I must admit, I indulged in the tasting daily while enjoying a good read in the blue room located right off the lobby entrance.
