[Canyon] sad news

Hi neighbors -

I hope everyone's had a great holiday.

It brings me great sadness to report that we've lost two of our own
recently: BCPOA board members Bill Dennis and Richard Lyon. Bill was a
mountain climber, property rights advocate, and nature lover. He has a
nice obituary at

. Richard was the behind-the-scenes driving force on zoning issues; no
one has worked harder or made more trips to the courthouse these last
few years (while still finding time to fish and help out other Bozeman
nonprofits). We admired them both as men of great integrity and concern
for those around them, richly deserving the devotion of their
retrievers. These will be difficult shoes to fill.
