BCPOA doesn't normally cover politics, but the County Attorney has played a pivotal role in many Planning & Zoning Commission actions, so we think the opportunity to meet the candidates is important. In the interest of balance, we'll be extending the same offer to the incumbent, Marty Lambert.

Meet Audrey Cromwell, candidate for Gallatin County Attorney. Richard Lyon is hosting an opportunity for Bridger Canyon residents to meet Audrey Cromwell on September 12 from 6:30-8pm at his home, 4794 Aspen Lane, in the Aspen Meadow subdivision off Jackson Creek Road. With 13 years of criminal law experience, Audrey has served Montanans as a Judge pro tem, prosecutor, public defender, legal aid attorney, and criminal defense attorney. As Gallatin County Attorney, her depth and breadth of service in criminal law will bring a sharp perspective tempered by a passion for collaboration. And, her depth of experience in civil law will serve her well in the other important duties of the County Attorney's office, most notably when acting as lawyer and legal advisor to the County Commissioners regarding land-use, contracts, lawsuits, and other legal issues. She will prioritize Gallatin County’s public safety and support a modern vision of the County Attorney’s Office as a leader in crime prevention and rehabilitation. Another thing to put on your calendar is the BCHPA's open house at the Lower Bridger School, Oct. 2 (more details later).
