Hi neighbors -

We had a really interesting conversation with candidate Audrey Cromwell
on the 12th.

Now you can pencil in next Thursday, Sep. 22 to meet the current County
Attorney, Marty Lambert. 7pm at the fire station community room.

Details to follow; hope to see you there!

Tom

Hi neighbors -

A quick reminder, we have a chance to meet County Attorney Marty Lambert
tomorrow night (Thursday) at the BCRFD Community Room, 7pm.

Marty has been County Attorney for 26 years, over which time Gallatin
County's population has quadrupled, so he's seen a lot of change. He's
no stranger to land use, near and dear to BCPOA's interests, including
the Mills v. Alta Vista subdivision case before the MT Supreme Court.
But zoning and subdivision are just a part of the office's duties, which
include public safety, mental health, and support of various functions
of county government. I think it will be a very interesting conversation.

Hope to see you there.

Hi neighbors -

We had a great conversation with County Attorney Marty Lambert at the
fire station last Thursday.

If you missed these evenings with the candidates, you can get familiar
with them at their web sites:

https://audreycromwell.com/ and https://www.martylambert.com/

Three debates are scheduled between Marty Lambert and Audrey Cromwell.
The local bar association has one Oct. 6; Forward Montana has one
scheduled for Oct. 13; and the League of Women Voters has one set on
Oct. 21. I don't have event links for these at present, but will share
as I encounter them.

It's the 50th anniversary of the Montana Constitution. Billings Library
Foundation recently held panel discussion about the constitutional
convention. Worth a listen:
