Come and step back into history and meet your neighbors at a Christmas Open
House to be held at the Lower Bridger Schoolhouse on Saturday, December 3,
2011 from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Hot drinks and cookies will be served. There will be old fashioned crafts
for children and anyone who wants to try their hand at making paper chain
decorations, and other homemade decorations.

This summer, we put a new roof onto the schoolhouse and returned it to the
way it would have been originally. Thanks to Mark Innis of Precision for a
great job and also to the Historic Preservation Board of Gallatin County for
the grant given to BCHPA that funded half of the cost of a new roof.

At 2 pm during the Open House, we will have the drawing for the Quilt for
which we have been selling tickets. If you have not had a chance to buy
your tickets yet, they will be available at the Open House. The quilt was
made here in the canyon by local quilters and generously donated to the
Schoolhouse.

It is time to renew your membership for 2012 or to join BCHPA. The cost of
membership is $10 per year and membership and grants help us keep the
Schoolhouse as a historic treasure in our canyon. Please renew at the Open
House or mail your check to Ann Chase at BCHPA, P.O. Box 3311, Bozeman, MT
59772.
