Ladies, 

Thank you to Nancye for hosting our recent book club get-together. There was a very nice crowd, delicious treats and stimulating discussions. 

Just to let you know our next BLV book club meeting will be held on Thursday, January 8th at 7:00 pm at my house.

Our book is "Pride and Pleasure: the Schuyler sisters in an Age of Revolution" by Amanda Vail. It is recently published and getting much interest. It is about Elizabeth and Angelica Schuyler, memorialized in the popular musical, "Hamilton", and their influence behind the scenes during our nation's founding, while analyzing women’s positions in society at that time. 

Since our book club is being held after the holidays, another email will be sent out in early December. No need to RSVP now. And of course, even those of you who do not read the book are welcome to attend and socialize. Mark your calendars!
