It is that time of year again…

 

Bridge Plaza Association has entered this year’s Greenest Residential Block 2014 for the following blocks:

 

-              Concord Street between Duffield Street and Gold Street

 

-              Concord Street between Bridge Street and Duffield Street, plus the Bridge Plaza Community Garden

 

-              Duffield Street between Tillary Street and Concord Street

 

Judging starts in mid-June and ends in late July.  More details about the competition may be found on the Brooklyn Botanic Garden’s website at http://www.bbg.org/greenbridge  & http://www.bbg.org/greenbridge/greenestblock.

 

Last year the Bridge Plaza Community Garden won First Place for Community Garden Streetscape and Second Place in in 2012.  Past years have included Window Box Winners at 186 Concord Street and 190 concord Street.

 

Keep up the great work! If your neighbors are on vacation, please pitch in to help water, pull weeds, etc.
