May update: staffing changes and other news!

Hi everyone!

I wanted to tell you a little about what we’ve been up to lately and what’s happening behind the scenes.

Staffing Changes

Welcome to our new Finance Manager, Jéneen Perkins!  Jéneen is an experienced accountant and the owner of Eclat Enterprises. We are excited about the skills she brings to our organization and her shared understanding of why Bridge Foundry’s mission is important. Starting now, she will be the one helping you with all your questions about the volunteer framework, invoices, reimbursements, and so on.

Diana Luepke will be stepping down from her role as COO at the end of May, and she is spending the remainder of her time with us working to ensure that Jéneen has everything she needs to provide great support.

fin...@bridgefoundry.org is still the best email to reach us for questions and requests related to finance and volunteer roles. Diana and Jéneen will both be on that list through the end of the month.

Mary Jenn also recently stepped down from her role as Communications Manager after many years of service to our organization as both a volunteer and a staff member.  Thanks, Mary!

Other News

Lots of other efforts are in the works, including a new logo and exploration of options for international finance. Our biggest priorities for the next couple months are to ensure a smooth staffing transition and to formalize some partnerships with long-time sponsors who have renewed their support in 2018.
