Hi all,

one week to late for our ELIXIR RIR reporting, but alas. So, back in February last year, oh wait, that was this year, when it became clear the cyberattack consequences would take some time to get resolved, I started a GitHub/Markdown solution for /data/gene_database/ Since then, Lauren has pimped the layout since, adding a logo and a bit more info.

So, because we now have control over the website content, we can make the page easier to work with, e.g. with the BridgeDbR. But it also allows adding BioSchemas, which is what this email is about.

The raw mapping file info is now stored in JSON files. There is a Groovy script that takes this input and a Markdown template to autogenerated the readme.md for the page.

Once that wishlist was implemented, I moved on and added Bioschemas content to the table too, which you can check up on at [0].

Grtz,

Egon

Hi, do you like citation networks? Already 51% of all citations are available available for innovative new uses. Join me in asking the American Chemical Society to join the Initiative for Open Citations too. SpringerNature, the RSC and many others already did.
