Hi all,

the BiGCaT team (Tooba, Luc, Martina) worked over the last month on updating the Ensembl gene/protein ID mapping files, stress-tested the workflow, and tested the results carefully. The new workflow is better.

Along the way, we also improved the quality control (QC) reporting and the BridgeDb Mapping file download page as extra benefit, which is where you can also download the files:


Over the past year, this page has gained functionality it never had. The last column was added today, and allows us to state which tools support this mapping file. This has to do with the BridgeDb version that is required, which has to do with how data sources are done.

The BridgeDb web service has not been updated yet, but that will happen soon.
