As I mentioned today in class we will be conducting the next several
weeks of class using a new program that offers substanially more
options than this forum. I have posted information about the Kogi, a
mandatory post, as well as some readings you will need to complete in
the next couple days.

Go to http://progressiveducation.org. Click on Global Concerns course.
Set up an account and you are ready to check out our new home.

I typed up this whole thing but i couldn't post it on the new forum.
so I'll post it here. The page keeps dissappearing.

Jared Diamond's new book "collapse" goes more in depth about the
Kogi's warning, by supporting his/their arguement with facts that back
it up. Jared puts out the negative impact that industrialization has
on indegenous societies that basically live off of and revolve around
nature, and for the Kogi people, they specifically revolve around the
coca plant. But after the mass annihilation of all of the coca plants
(that took the Kogi five years to regrow), their society and way of
life is destroyed. A parallel to this situation is the relationship of
war industries and the economy in the United States. The ecomony in
the United Sates began to feed and grow off of war production and
training businesses especially after World War II. Kogi fumigators,
especially the United States, need to think about the damage that would
occur if the Kogi or anyone else, decided that war (like cocaine) was
bad, which it is, and destroyed all of our war things such as the
industries/businesses, and fighters like the marines, navy, airforce,
and military. America's economy and indorectly the society and
politics would all be ruined. This biological and chemical warfare
must be stopped, because war is expensive and we (the world) need to
start listening to Diamond and the Kogi and mind our own business.
They do not sell cocaine leaves through drug connections, they use it
for traditional purposes that have been treasured and followed by their
ancestors.

World Peace Homies.

By the way Joe, you spelled my name wrong...it's Suzanna, with one z,
don't feel bad, peoples be spelling it wrong all the time.
