Can you run the Bridge Works application while logged into an administrator account and make sure you use the "run as administrator" feature. This will give the application the permissions it needs to setup SQL Server correctly. After running the application once as an administrator, then the SQL Server engine needs to be restarted (this is the way SQL Server is designed), I usually tell individuals to reboot the machine which will create the same effect.

I spoke too soon.  BW started.  I stopped it, rebooted the machine, SQL Express will not restart.

You may have to check the SQL Express service properties and see if it is setup to start automatically or try to start it manually. If SQL Express refuses to start you need to check the event logs to see why.

I hope this helps.

Again, Larry Veden is a good resource to help with this.

Good luck
Mike
