I am reinstalling BW on a computer and getting the following error. I don't recognize this error. Any ideas?

This usually means the SQL Server registration in WMI has been corrupted. You can bypast this issue by editing the two configurations files "BW" and "BW" and adjust the "SQLServerEngines" key in "appSettings'. For example if the SQL engine on your machine has the name "localhost\SQLExpress" then you can set this parameter as follows:
 
<add key="SQLServerEngines" value="localhost\SQLExpress" />
 
The alternative is to rebuild your machine.
 
You should contact Larry Veden to make sure you do this correctly.
