If I'm interested in hosting my own instance of BridgeTroll separate from the one at www.bridgetroll.org, do you have any instructions for what I need to do differently than when I am running a development version of the application locally?

I see from the gemfile that there are several gems which are only installed when running in production, but I'm wondering what else I need to do to get this bootstrapped. I did look on the Wiki before emailing, but didn't see anything there.

Thanks,
Pepper

I haven't tried building/deploying bridgetroll in over two years now but the README in git does seem like it documents most of the settings you'd have to keep in mind - mailer service, meetup api keys etc.

What it takes to deploy would be some recipe involving - provision your db, set these keys in the environment, start a job runner process, go!

I see newrelic is in the Gemfile - possibly that has to be set up if you want your deploy to be monitored.

Hope that helps. If you tried to deploy and ran into problems, doubtless the list will be happy to help out.
