Hi everyone,

The usual monthly events are all starting up again -

1st Sunday, 1pm: Sunday Sing - all styles and abilities welcome.

1st Monday, 7-9pm: Writing Group - non-fiction, fiction, memoirs, poetry welcome.

1st Tuesday, 7-9pm: Needlework Nights - bring your portable project to this social night & pass a pleasant evening.

2nd Thursday, 7-9pm: STOMP - interactive theater games.

3rd Thursday, 6.30-8pm: Pine Knots Book Club.

Last Tuesday, 7-8pm: Spanish Table - only Spanish spoken; beginners through native speakers welcome.

And here are our upcoming special events -

Monday Oct 27th, 6.30-7.30pm: Scary stories for 3-8 from Wendy.

All Tuesdays in Nov, 7-9pm: Learn to Knit. Fiona Zahnke teaches and experienced knitters can hang out free. Contact Fiona for fee and supplies info: 276-523-5097

Saturday Nov. 15th, 10.30am -12.30pm: Wreath Making with Suzanne Lawson of Mountain Rose Vineyards. $10 materials fee

Saturday Nov. 15th, 7pm: Murder in the Bookstore 3: Oh Dear, Oh Deer. An annual favorite. A hunting we will go; when author Dirk Deerslayer comes to sign books a slip-up results in a lock-down. Accident, or murder?

Friday Dec. 5th and Saturday Dec. 6th 7-8.30pm: Celtic Christmas - our most popular event! Hear music, stories and snippets of fascinating Christmas trivia from all the Celtic nations. Suitable for older children and adults.

All events free unless otherwise noted.
