Does Brick allow a Point to be a Point of another Point? If not, should it?

I'm working on shapes for ASHRAE Guideline 36 and there are points for alarm resets that reset a sensor. For example, the point below (4.6) resets the high static pressure alarm from the supply fan differential pressure sensor (Figure A-9).

Hi Matt:

The answer is, not currently. However, we are reworking some of the setpoints/limits/parameter classes in Brick for an upcoming release. Having a "point of a point" is something we have discussed before -- I do think this makes sense to do, and we will revisit it for an upcoming Brick release. For now, I think just make the points "flat" (i.e., not a point of a point) is the best we can do.

Best,
Gabe
