We had some Haystack translation work merged into the brickschema package (
https://brickschema.readthedocs.io/en/latest/) but this recently broke due to Haystack changing their JSON export format. There is currently a TODO issue on the py-brickschema repo to handle this on py-brickschema's end but it hasn't been done yet. There is also some initial work on formalizing Haystack by anchoring its definitions to the Brick ontology, which will facilitate any translation between the two. IFC is markedly more difficult due to a lack of publicly available models and the diversity of how IFC is actually used (seems to be rare that any one IFC document will contain all subsystems), but there is interest in the Brick community in gathering more IFC models in order to facilitate that translation. We are also building alignments with VBIS (
https://vbis.com.au/) which has its own alignment to Omniclass/Uniclass that might serve as a possible avenue for alignment with IFC
