True to tradition, we will have a fantastic featured guest / keynote speaker at Brick Fiesta again this year.

We are excited to announce that Alice Finch will be attending Brick Fiesta as our featured guest.

Alice Finch started building with LEGO again when her older son needed a building companion.  She realized that building isn’t just for little kids- its creative, inspiring, and incredibly fun for big kids too.  Her first model was Hogwarts Castle, which accidentally grew to be 400,000 bricks big. In her LEGO room in Seattle, WA, she continues to build models both great and small, as well as collaborative projects, as she thinks there is great potential in using the brick to bring people together.   Her work has been published in several books and she is a featured builder in the documentary, A LEGO Brickumentary.

You likely will recognize some of her award winning creations such as Hogwarts castle, Hobbiton, Rivendell, and more.

Alice has recently started work on a new smallish Castle project which she plans to bring to Brick Fiesta for its first public appearance!

We're finalizing our topics for breakout sessions and will be announcing the schedule soon.

Hotel Registration

With a little less than 3 months to go, we have already filled more than 50% of the rooms we contracted at the special Brick Fiesta discounted rate.

We exceeded our room allotment for Sun. July 11, but have added more.  

If you tried to reserve a room for July 11 and could only get one at more than 2X the Brick Fiesta rate, you can now get it at the correct rate.

We might be able to negotiate more rooms at this rate, but the hotel is under no obligation to do so.

If you want to be sure to get the Brick Fiesta discounted rate, don't procrastinate!

The Westin Galleria "Brick Fiesta" room rate is available spanning 2 days prior to 1 day after the event dates, subject to availability of guest rooms at the time of reservation. This special rate is more than a 50% discount off their regular room rates.  Book early to make sure you don't miss out on this rate!

May 27th is an important date to make note of.

Friday, May 27 is the DEADLINE for several things:

• It is the LAST day to buy your Brick Fiesta All-Access membership and get a brick badge.  All All-Access memberships purchased after that date will get a paper version of the badge. Register NOW
  
• It is the LAST day to get 2 bonus raffle tickets per MOC you register (up to 5 MOCs)  There are so many awesome raffle prizes, you will want as many tickets as you can get!  Register MOCs HERE
  
• It is the LAST day to let us know that your LUG group plans to participate in the LUG Collaborative Build - Space Cowboys division.  After that date we will reallocate the prime spaces we had reserved for LUG Collaborative builds to other purposes.
  
• It is the LAST day to pre-order extras of the official Brick Fiesta T-shirt and minifig torsos.  There will be a very limited supply available at Brick Fiesta. Please share this info with anyone you know who may be planning to attend the public exhibition.  Pre-ordering T-shirts & minifig torsos is the only way to be certain you will get what you want.
  

If you plan to stay at the Westin Galleria (where all the fun will be happening) don't wait too long to book your room!  We have filled just short of 70% of the rooms we reserved for our block.  We may be able to add more at the special negotiated rate if we need them, but there is no guarantee.  BOOK NOW

Public Exhibition memberships purchased online through July 6 are discounted 20% off the at the door price.

Tim Rueger will be coordinating the Sumobot challenge again this year.  Help him prepare by registering your robots by July 2 and by sharing this information with anyone you know who is interested in LEGO robotics.

The sooner we know what you plan to bring the better he can plan the space to showcase every MOC in the best possible way.
